Liverpool: Fans back Mohamed Salah following ‘unwarranted stick’

Many Liverpool fans have jumped to the defence of star man Mohamed Salah in light of criticism that he’s received.
Manager Jurgen Klopp was one of the first to back the Egypt international after winning a penalty against West Ham United last month, but supporters have been on his back way before that due to his apparent ‘selfishness’.
Those concerned have completely overlooked the fact that he has scored 106 goals and provided 44 assists from 170 appearances in all competitions (TransferMarkt).
Because of this, Salah is 16th in the all-time top goalscorers list for the football club, recently overtaking the great Kevin Keegan who managed 100 during the Bill Shankly days (via LFC History).
Does Mo Salah get unwarranted stick?
Yes

No

With this in mind, supporters stuck up for Salah who they believed has been unfairly scrutinised over the past 12 months.
Fans leap to defence of Salah
I think he gets unwarranted stick mainly from other supporters.
Vast majority of LFC supporters know his worth.

Haters will always talk rubbish.. His stats prove the contrary, he’s among the best in number of assists and break up play in the league. Let the numbers talk.

Mo Salah, an attacker gets blamed for just scoring goals, that ofcourse is not true but how is that a valid criticism? Isn’t that like his job or something https://t.co/lR8Pf9kKlN

Even if he just scores goals, he should still be respected. For a wide player to drop his kind of numbers, it’s crazy. https://t.co/nHZuY9I9YO
