Liverpool may be the subject of a three-way transfer tussle when January rolls around

With oh so much optimism surrounding Liverpool right now, the punters in the Transfer Tavern have been in a glorious mood of late.

Jurgen Klopp has crafted a wonderfully fluid attacking team at Anfield this season and a genuine title challenge looks like a massively increasing possibility, with the Reds propping up the bar waxing poetic over their side.

Everyone in the squad appears to be pulling their weight these days, though our Merseyside drinkers have been handed food for thought from the Daily Mirror.

Despite his popularity with the club, Mamadou Sakho is reportedly being lined up by THREE different sides in the January transfer window, having lost his place in the squad with the Kop titans.

After a nightmare few months, the Frenchman is reportedly the target of West Bromwich Albion, as well as interest emanating out of the San Siro.

Both Inter and AC Milan are said to be keen on the 26-year-old, who has not figured in first-team competition since way back in April.

A loan deal is understood to be the preference and the Liverpool fans in this evening don’t quite know how to feel about the notion of him leaving.

Hugely popular when in the team, the fact he hasn’t started at all has seen his stock nose-dive in recent months and his departure would surely have little impact on the first-team.

Should Sakho be handed another chance at Anfield? Let us know below…
