Liverpool fans are looking pleased with the news coming from the Daily Mail today in the Football Transfer Tavern as they seem to think that Glen Johnson could well be on his way out of the club.
According to the publication, not only will Johnson be leaving this summer but he wants to find a club where he can reignite his career – and our regulars make the point that Johnson has often been trolled and criticised for his performances, and a move away could be the best thing for him.
Johnson’s agent, Jonathon Barnett claimed: ‘Glen is obviously looking for somewhere where he can turn around his career.
‘That’s the most important thing for him. (Somewhere) where he can play nicely under a good club that’s challenging for things. That is where he wants to be.’
It will also leave Liverpool a right back short and a fair few names have already been flying around the tavern as we consider who Brendan Rodgers could well be looking to bring in.
