Liverpool fans inside the Football Transfer Tavern are currently doing a conga with the news that the club are readying an audacious bid for Lucas Moura, according to Football Direct News.
The Brazilian currently plays for French Ligue 1 giants side Paris Saint-Germain after moving from Sao Paolo for €45 million in January 2013.
Lucas, as he is commonly known, is a full international known for his raw pace and agility on the ball.
He’s a devout Christian and tweets both religious Bible verses and other statements of his faith via his Twitter page.
Liverpool fans may have to show some of their own faith themselves if they think this is a deal to be done, because in all honesty it will take a minor miracle for them to lure him away from the French capital.
The Anfield-based outfit will soon be able to offer prospective players Champions League football next season but it’s highly unlikely that they will be prepared to match the attacker’s wages.
It’s not the first time that Lucas has been linked to the Premier League with rivals Manchester United rebuffed just a month before he first signed for PSG.
If any deal was to be done it may be worth doing as soon as possible with the World Cup just around the corner.
A successful World Cup campaign on home turf could see Lucas’ stock rise significantly in terms of value.
What do you think Liverpool fans? Is Lucas a genuine transfer target or should you be Mour realistic? Let us know your thoughts below.

the only problem with this is that we already have a small squad and thats gonna make it smaller. we have champions league aswell now so we still need squad players to make up the numbers
Of course, just leave Sturridge, Henderson, Sterling and Coutinho out of your starting 11 why don’t you……
Certainly not going to replace 6 of this years starting players from the first 11, that’d be crazy.
Left back needed certainly, it’s an area we have been so relatively weak on for years in comparison to our competition although Enrique isn’t as bad as most people think in my opinion.
