Our Liverpool fans here in the Transfer Tavern are not happy at the moment with their side once again missing out on what was supposedly a key target.
Indeed, it’s a familiar story for our Reds punters here by the bar at the moment with players seemingly snubbing them for other sides.
And, in this latest case, it’s Mahmoud Dahoud who has decided to join Dortmund instead of signing at Anfield.
Indeed, only earlier this week The Daily Star had reported that the Reds were still looking to get the midfielder in ahead of the Bundesliga giants but they have failed to achieve that aim.
Dahoud’s current club, Borussia Monchengladbach have confirmed today that he’ll be off to Dortmund in the summer and, naturally, Reds fans are unhappy on Twitter.
That’s not been the only reaction, though, with plenty of rival fans sticking their oars in and so, with that all in mind, here’s the best of what’s been said:
