Losing these 3 players would be good for Everton this summer

Everton fans here in the Tavern are hoping that their side can secure a European place next season, as they’ll be looking for a better campaign next time out.

The Toffees have been struggling for consistency in the current campaign after flirting with the possibility of relegation towards the start of the season, with many of our local Evertonians feeling relieved. Indeed, Everton will need to get rid of a few underperforming players at the end of the season, as there’re plenty of improvements to be had in what’s been a disappointing campaign.

Of course, there definitely needs to be changes made in the summer transfer window, with the Toffees possibly conducting a major overhaul as they’ll be looking to challenge for Europe next season. But, some players will be playing for their futures from here on in until the end of the season, after failing to produce consistently good performances in the current campaign.

Therefore, losing these THREE players would be good for Everton this summer…

Davy Klaassen

Davy Klassen has struggled to come to terms with Premier League football in the current campaign, as an exit looks likely in the summer transfer window.

Indeed, the Dutchman will be desperate to make a name for himself from here on in until the end of the season, as he’s failed to live up to expectations in what’s been a rather disastrous campaign.

Therefore, Everton should look to sell the midfielder in the summer transfer window, as he’s still yet to produce performances worthy of the hefty price that was paid for his services.

Michael Keane

Michael Keane has been one of the biggest disappointments in the current campaign, as he’s now lost out on a place in the side after producing a number of horrific performances.

Indeed, the 25-year-old looks to be heading for the exits in the summer transfer window, as the club won’t tolerate any dead weight in the squad after an unsuccessful campaign.

Therefore, the Toffees should look to sell the defender in the summer months, with other clubs possibly looking to snap him up.

Cuco Martina

Cuco Martina has been one of the biggest transfer flops in the club’s history after signing on a free in the summer, with many of our local residents wanting to see some profit made on him in the summer transfer window.

Indeed, the Dutchman has looked sluggish in possession and has been caught out on too many occasions, as the Toffees could do without any more of his mistakes for the remainder of the season.

Therefore, Everton should look to sell the ineffective defender in the summer transfer window, as he doesn’t seem to be playing at the right level with a drop down to the Championship seeming appropriate.
