A number of Manchester City fans hailed teenage prospect Jayden Braaf after comments he made regarding any potential comparisons with Jadon Sancho, the ex-Etihad academy player now excelling at Borussia Dortmund.
Twitter channel @RisingBallers_ uploaded a clip of the Dutch youngster addressing comparisons with the England winger by saying: “Everyone is thinking I’m this Sancho number two but I’m just myself. I’m not the new Sancho or something like that so I’ll let you know that.” Those comments were later shared on Twitter by @City_Xtra.

Braaf, who like Sancho plays as a winger, has impressed for Manchester City’s youth teams this season, helping himself to 11 goals in 26 appearances at underage level and being hailed in a Daily Mail scout report as a “powerfully built” prospect who possesses a “surge of pace”.
The 17-year-old has yet to feature in a first team squad at the Etihad Stadium but, with Pep Guardiola giving Phil Foden a debut at the same age two seasons ago, the manager has previous in promoting young talent to the senior ranks if he feels they are good enough.
