Our Manchester City fans here in the Transfer Tavern are feeling a little down at the moment as they feel they really should have beaten Manchester United last night.
In truth, it was a poor game between the two clubs as they played out an uneventful 0-0 – punctuated only by Marouane Fellaini losing his head quite literally.
City, then, will clearly feel it was an opportunity missed to bolster their top four chances and the feeling here by the bar is that the club will need to sign more players in the summer before they can become title contenders.
Who comes in, then, remains to be seen but, according to The Times, young star Tosin Adarabioyo could be on his way out of the club with talks over extending his deal currently in a stalled state.
The young defender has got plenty of potential, of course, and has been one of the more higher rated players to come through City’s youth system.
He could move on, though, if a deal cannot be sorted soon.
