The Arsenal fans in and around the Transfer Tavern are hoping that Unai Emery makes an instant impact this season with the addition of a few talented players to bring back Champions League football.
It was a tough watch last season as Arsene Wenger ended his 22 year reign at the club by finishing 6th in the Premier League, something Unai Emery will look to improve on for sure. A number of problems occurred last season but with Santi Cazorla already departed and Jack Wilshere thought to be next, our punters believe that the Gunners should be targeting Brahim Diaz, who is valued at £4.5 million on Transfermarkt.
The young City midfielder has found first-team opportunities hard to come by with the Premier League champions but seeing as Arsenal are getting rid of two of their most influential attacking midfielders, Diaz should be recruited as a future star for the Gunners. His potential is there for all to see and in the few appearances he has made for Manchester City, he offered creativity and the drive to beat defenders.
The 18-year-old is a keen attacker that can play on either wing or although his favoured position is likely to be through the middle as an attacking midfielder. He has pace, trickery, unbelievable close control and already the winning mentality having been involved with the Premier League winners.
Unai Emery will look to build up his Arsenal team so that in a few seasons they are again ready to challenge for the title and although Diaz would be hard to prize away from Man City, would be an amazing start for the new boss.
