When Roy Keane has an opinion, he’ll surely share it and last night was no different.
The Irishman boiled the blood of Spurs fans last night as he simply dismissed their title credentials speaking on ITV’s Champions League highlights show.
Spurs are currently the only unbeaten side left in the Premier League this season and are currently one point off of the top spot behind Manchester City and Arsenal, whilst they have beaten the former 2-0 in recent weeks.

Watching him say this live launched a number of tirades from our resident Lilywhites supporters here in the Transfer Tavern, who think that he was bang out of order, especially because he couldn’t really give a proper reason for his thinking.
One Spurs fan here in the Transfer Tavern said: “It sounds like he’s just saying these things to boost his own reputation and gain some publicity and it winds me up considering we’ve been far better than most sides this year and that includes his old club!”
