Speaking at an event on the UEFA Champions League Trophy Tour, Ryan Giggs has revealed which Croatia star he’d like most at Manchester United, leaving the Red Devils fans in the Transfer Tavern nodding in agreement.
The Welshman revealed, that he was a big fan of the Croatian national team at the moment but it was Luka Modric that he liked most and wanted to see at Old Trafford, as you can see below via @ChampionsLeague on Twitter.

Modric is currently at Real Madrid having joined from Spurs in 2012, and has gone on to be one of their key players, winning the Champions League final both in 2014 and in May this year during his stay.
He also worked with current Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho during the Portuguese’s last season at Los Blancos in 2012-13, and Giggs evidently would like to see them link up again.
Our resident Red Devils fans certainly agree, one said: “Would I like Luka Modric? Of course I would he’s simply world-class and he’d get ahead of any of our midfielders at the moment, including Paul Pogba.”
