Manchester United fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are devastated after hearing from the Daily Star that Paul Pogba has opted to join Paris Saint-Germain instead of returning to Old Trafford.
United hoped they could capitalise on the tough situation in Turin as the 21-year-old’s future hangs in the balance.
His agent, Mino Raiola, who also represents Mario Balotelli, has fuelled speculation in recent days insisting his client, Pogba, could leave the Juventus Stadium in the near future.
And the recent reports, suggesting that Pogba has agreed to join PSG, support the comments made by his agent.
After Raiola said: “No, Ligue 1 is not too small for Paul Pogba.
“For Paul, all the big clubs are interesting regardless of which championship they play in.
“We respect the Spanish championship, the French championship, England, Italy and Germany.”
The agent highlighted the French top flight which has given punters in the Tavern the idea that him and Pogba have had talks with PSG.
