This summer saw Paul Pogba return to Manchester United at great expense, much to the delight of the Red Devils propping up the bar in the Transfer Tavern.
While the Frenchman hasn’t been at his very best since making a move back to Old Trafford, it’s still a delight for the United fans to watch him back in action.
With that in mind, thanks to reports from the Daily Mail, perhaps returns to the Theatre of Dreams could serve as a sewing motifs during Jose Mourinho’s reign in charge.
They claim the club are open to the idea of bringing Paul Scholes back to the club, in order to take over from recently departed U23 manager Warren Joyce,
He was recently handed the Wigan job, and while they will reportedly not actively chase the former England pass master, they are open to his return.
Scholes retired back in 2013 and has been working as a pundit for BT Sport, becoming rather vocal over the club’s recent downward spiral.
