Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern are bracing themselves for an exit of a player who has never quite got going at Old Trafford.
The Daily Mirror states United are ready to sell Marouane Fellaini for £24m this month, with the Belgian international attracting the interest of AC Milan.
Fellaini is open to a transfer as he looks to assure himself of a spot in Belgium’s squad for the European Championships at the end of the season, when the side ranked number one in the world will be looking to improve on a disappointing World Cup campaign in 2014.
The 28-year-old arrived from Everton in a £28.5m deal in 2014, following David Moyes to Old Trafford and becoming a central-figure in the disappointing tenure of the Scottish manager- a regime that only lasted months.
Our landlord believes United will be lucky to get £24m for the Belgian midfield, giving his unimpressive displays in the past few seasons.
United fans, would you accept the departure of Fellaini? Let us know in the comments below!
