The Daily Star are providing us with plenty of gossip here in the Football Transfer Tavern and Manchester United fans are about to find out just what our landlord has heard.
The publication seem to think that the Red Devils will not have to accommodate Javier Hernandez in the second half of the season despite his Real Madrid loan spell not quite going as well as hoped or expected.
With the Mexican international failing to impress Los Blancos manager Carlo Ancelotti and struggling to even get on the bench at times with the sheer amount of talent at the Spanish club, our regulars were unsure of just where his future lay.
One thing is for sure; Real Madrid will not be taking up the option of a permanent deal and with his short-term future even in doubt, his agent has moved to alleviate these worries – for now at least.
His agent claimed: “I met with the leaders of the Real a few days ago, Javier will not leave the club.
“Obviously he would like to have more minutes, but he knows that by working hard he can improve his situation.”
Manchester United fans. Do you want to bring Hernandez back to the Old Trafford or have his chances to impress come and gone? Let us know your thoughts below.
