The topic of conversation in the pub today surrounds a story emanating from the Sun, which suggests that the Red Devils have agreed personal terms with Antoine Griezmann ahead of a potential summer transfer for the Frenchman.
Unsurprisingly, this has generated much chatter amongst the Man Utd fans in the pub – with many absolutely delighted with the news.
Of course, Griezmann is one of Europe’s most in-demand players, having proven himself as one of the most talented forwards in world football. Quick, technical and a fantastic finisher, Griezmann has all the traits of a Premier League star, and whilst confirmation of a deal seems a fair way off – it appears as though Man Utd are closing in on a deal that could be seen as the signing of the summer.
Should he make the move, he would, of course, be joining French compatriot Paul Pogba at the club – and our landlord has touted the duo to form a deadly partnership.
