Man Utd demands could be met as Ligue 1 outfit eye move for midfielder

The Man Utd fans in the Transfer Tavern are expecting a fair bit of business to be conducted over the next few weeks…

An upturn in form in recent weeks has renewed the optimism amongst the Man Utd fans in the Transfer Tavern, with an excellent run of form signifying to the fans in attendance that Jose Mourinho is the man for the job.

He has done everything right in recent weeks, but whilst his squad management has been applauded by the Man Utd faithful – a few players have failed to cement themselves under the Portuguese boss.

One such player is Morgan Schneiderlin, with the Frenchman limited to a bit-part role under Mourinho, as he was under Louis van Gaal last season.

There have been numerous reports over the last few weeks suggesting that the French midfielder could leave the club this month, yet as of yet – the Frenchman’s future remains uncertain, with Mourinho holding out for £24 million.

If a recent report from the Sun is to be believed, though, it would appear that Mourinho could have finally found a buyer for the midfielder. The Sun are reporting that Marseille have entered the race for Schneiderlin – and unlike Everton and West Brom, the Ligue 1 outfit would reportedly be happy to meet the demands of the Manchester giants.

The Man Utd fans in the Transfer Tavern are pleased to see a bit of progress on the deal, especially considering that Mourinho has seemingly been fairly resolute in his belief that the midfielder will not be undervalued by his side.

Our landlord thinks that the deal makes sense for both parties, and will allow Schneiderlin to finally get on with his career.
