Clearly, Man Utd are favourites for the clash, and considering how well Mourinho has got his side playing this season, the Russian outfit shouldn’t pose much of a problem for the Red Devils.
However, one thing that could pose a problem is the pitch that the two sides are set to meet on – with the conditions far from perfect for a game of football.
As the video below shows, via Simon Peach on Twitter, the Red Devils can expect more than a little bit of bouncing on Thursday night, with Mourinho likely to have to rip up his tactics in order to deal with the conditions.

You also have to consider the threat of injury in the game. Clearly, the pitch is very hard, and Man Utd will certainly be concerned that that could impact upon the movement of the players and increase their risk of picking up a knock.
