It has been a long time coming, but it would appear as though Henrikh Mkhitaryan is finally getting his chance at Man Utd.

Jose Mourinho resisted calls from the punters in the Transfer Tavern to give the attacker a chance in the Man Utd first team for weeks, but after weeks of poor performances – he had little choice.

The dynamic Armenian came into the side a couple of weeks ago, and since then – he has not looked back.

A couple of good performances against the likes of Feyenoord and Everton gave Mourinho little choice but to start him against Zorya last night – and he repaid the faith and then some.

Mkhitaryan delivered a midfield masterclass, and he capped off a fantastic performance with a stunning solo goal to take Man Utd ahead.

Expectedly, the Man Utd fans in the Transfer Tavern were absolutely delighted with his heroics – and the Man Utd fans around the world have taken a very similar stance.
