It’s ben a tough season so far for Man Utd, and it’s fair to say that their fans will have been expecting much better. They’ve struggled to compete in the Premier League, and they remain some way off the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool.
Jose Mourinho, then, had to get off to a good start in the Champions League, and fortunately for him, that’s exactly what he did. The Portuguese’s side took on Young Boys on Wednesday night in a game that they were expected to win, and that’s exactly what they did.
The Red Devils impressed against the Swiss outfit, eventually winning the game 3-0. It was a fixture in which many players impressed, including the likes of Diogo Dalot and Anthony Martial.
However, one player that shone above everyone else is Paul Pogba. Pogba has been disappointing so far this season, but he really turned up on Wednesday, delivering a performance of the highest quality on a day in which he was named captain.
Naturally, Man Utd fans have been quick to respond to the display, with supporters clearly delighted with how well he did.
