Man Utd fans want Ander Herrera to sign fresh terms at Old Trafford

Nobody at Man Utd could have predicted the turnaround in form at Old Trafford, not least in the case of Ander Herrera. The Spaniard was hardly utilised by Jose Mourinho, but upon the arrival of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, that’s all changed.

He’s now emerged as one of their most important players, helping to control the midfield and dominating play every week. But there’s one problem.

His contract at Old Trafford is set to expire this summer, meaning that he could have just months left to renew his deal.

Reports, like from the Independent, do suggest that talks are forthcoming – but so far, nothing has happened.

Man Utd this week, though, have agreed fresh terms with Phil Jones, and that’s left more fans questioning where on earth the deal for Herrera is, given his excellent recent form. Indeed, many fans just want to see him get tied down long-term.
