It has been a difficult few weeks for Anthony Martial. The Frenchman has been on a decent run of form in the English top flight, but following the arrival of Alexis Sanchez, he has fallen in terms of significance at Old Trafford.

It’s a shame, really, given how good everyone knows he can be on his day. A lethal attacker with brilliant pace, technique and finishing, the Frenchman has the potential to be a fantastic player.

It’s easy to forget, after all, that he is just 22-years-old, and so whilst Jose Mourinho clearly has incredible demands for him, he’s also a player that is still developing.

Given his lack of action, it came as no surprise to our resident Red Devils that he is reportedly keen to leave this summer, at least according to French reporter Mohamed Bouhafsi in a Tweet published earlier this week.

It would be a huge loss were he to quit the club, given how good he is.

However, it wouldn’t be the end of the world, at least according to our landlord.

Fortunately, there are a number of incredible attacking talents currently on display in Europe, and our landlord thinks that by signing at least ONE of these two players to replace Martial, the Red Devils’ attack would see an upgrade…

Nabil Fekir

Martial’s lack of game time is because he plays in the same role as Alexis Sanchez.

Man Utd, then, should consider investing in an attack with a bit more versatility, and Nabil Fekir could be perfect.

He has been lighting up France with his incredible skill and trickery, and he’s been a huge threat in front of goal for current team Lyon.

At 24-years-old, he is, like Martial, an option for the future, but he’s already one of Europe’s best.

Willian

Willian is much older than Anthony Martial, but on current form he’s amongst the Premier League’s best.

The Brazilian brings lightning pace, a real goal threat, and – most important to Mourinho – an incredible work ethic.

Mourinho previously managed him at Chelsea, and he became a star under the Portuguese. If he can keep his fine form of the moment up, then he could take Man Utd’s attack to the next level.

In terms of proven quality, the Red Devils could struggle to do much better.
