Manchester City have again been linked with Real Madrid midfielder Isco, with Spanish publication AS claiming that Pep Guardiola is very keen on the 27-year-old. [via Sport Witness]

According to AS [via Sport Witness], both Guardiola and Arsenal manager Unai Emery are “crazy about him”, with the former seeing him as a potential successor to fellow Spaniard David Silva, who will leave the Etihad Stadium at the end of this season.
These reports continue the long-standing narrative involving Isco and Manchester City, who have been linked with the midfielder by Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo on several occasions over the last 18 months – they have reported of City’s interest in the Real Madrid man in May and November 2018, as well as June and August of this year.
Isco has won four Champions League titles during his time at the Bernabeu but has found himself out of favour this season, making just two La Liga starts and not featuring in the Champions League prior to tonight’s clash against Galatasaray, as per TransferMarkt.
