A brace from Raheem Sterling and Joao Cancelo’s first goal for the club took all the headlines as the Sky Blues sailed into a mouth-watering semi-final tie with bitter rivals Manchester United.
However, despite Sterling’s prolific goal-scoring continuing in this game, another Englishman has also warranted praise for his assured performance – with popular starlet Phil Foden also attracting due recognition on his third successive start in all competitions.
City supporters have been begging Pep Guardiola to start Foden more often since the beginning of the campaign, and now it seems their faith will continue to be rewarded.
Here’s how Sky Blues fans praised the youngster on Twitter for another brilliant display.
