Manchester City defender Benjamin Mendy sustained an injury to his hamstring prior to the 2-0 loss against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday, as reported on the club’s official channels.

It has been added that while the 25-year-old missed the game, he is expected to be back after the international break:

The Frenchman has played just 46 minutes of Premier League football so far this season, which came during the 8-0 victory over Watford, as per WhoScored.
This comes after a season in which he missed a total of 40 games across all competitions through injury, as per Transfermarkt.
It seems as though this is a step too far for Man City supporters, who are beginning to give up on the Frenchman and his ability to stay fit.
Some have indicated that they want the 25-year-old sold, while others seem to just be accepting that they won’t get much out of him at this stage.
