According to a Christmas update by Sky Sports transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Man City defender Eric Garcia has a ‘confirmed’ total agreement with Barcelona over a five-year contract, agreeing on everything including agent commission – with the Sky Blues centre-back’s exit now looking inevitable, either in January or next summer.

Garcia, who has been seeking a move away from Manchester since the summer window, has an agreement with Barcelona over a transfer – which includes all contract details from salary, all the way down to commission for agents.

Romano explained this on a podcast at the start of December, with the reliable journalist now offering an update on the situation and explaining that his information is now ‘confirmed’.
