According to a report by Spanish source La Razon, Valencia starlet Kang-in Lee has ‘no intention’ of extending his contract with the La Liga giants, which expires in 2022, as Man City are touted by the outlet as serious suitors for his signature.
Lee, who has shone for Valencia in a similar vein to recent Sky Blues summer signing Ferran Torres, could now be on a similar path to City’s Spaniard as his stance on a new contract is made clear.
Should Man City snap up Kang-in Lee?
Yes, go get the kid
No, Phil Foden exists
Indeed, the promising youngster is apparently refusing to sign an extension and could well be on the way out – with Valencia apparently not wanting to make the same mistake they did with Torres and as such, they are willing to entertain generous January offers.
The Sky Blues are now being touted as suitors for the midfielder, dubbed by some supporters as a ‘young David Silva’, with plenty of City fans seemingly wanting the club to pursue a deal.
