Manchester United: Fans beg club to sign Martin Odegaard from Real Madrid

Manchester United fans are begging the club to sign Martin Odegaard from Real Madrid after the Norwegian’s performance in Real Sociedad’s win over Alaves.

A video emerged on social media showing the 20-year-old nutmegging a player, before playing a sensational pass through the Alaves defence for a goal (via @utdxtra).

The youngster made headlines back in the summer of 2015, when he signed for Spanish giants Real Madrid for a fee believed to be £2.3m (via BBC).

However, his time in Spain has been less than glamorous, with Odegaard making just two appearances for the first-team.

The Norway international is currently on a season-long loan at Sociedad and has already notched up two goals and one assist in just six La Liga appearances (via Transfermarkt).

After the emergence of the clip, Manchester United fans took to Twitter to ask the club to sign the talented youngster after a lack of appearances in Spain.
