Manchester United: Fans beg Inter Milan to buy Nemanja Matic

Manchester United fans have been pleading with Inter Milan manager Antonio Conte to buy midfielder Nemanja Matic from their side as reports from Sky Sports have revealed the Italian club’s interest.

Matic, who had a stint at Chelsea under the Italian manager, moved to Old Trafford in 2017 where he has become a heavily debated name amongst Ole Gunnar Solksjaer’s squad in terms of his form and his work rate.

The Serbian middle man has found that his playing time this season has taken a significant hit in comparison to his first two seasons at the club.

Matic has only made three Premier League appearances this season and has come under some heavy criticism from fans and pundits since his arrival at Old Trafford.

The Serbia international has not started a game for the Red Devils this season and hasn’t scored a goal since last Boxing day, during United’s 3-1 win against Huddersfield Town.

Supporters were somewhat excited to hear that a team was interested in taking Matic off their hands and expressed their feelings on social media. One fan said that it could potentially be more “deadwood” out of the door.
