Manchester United: Fans debate Gary Neville’s comments on Paul Pogba

Manchester United fans have been discussing Gary Neville’s comments on what is wrong currently at the club.

The Sky Sports pundit has been open about his views on the goings-on at Old Trafford in recent years. But as results continue to slump, many theories have been dished out in relation to what needs to be done to fix the issues at United.

Neville, 44, came through the club’s academy and won every trophy at club level, including 12 Premier League titles, two Champions Leagues, four FA Cups, three League Cups, one Club World Cup and an Intercontinental Cup.

Per Samuel Luckhurst of the Manchester Evening News, Pogba is the only senior player in the dressing room at Old Trafford and has been missed by the Red Devils during his absence in Neville’s eyes.

The departures of Ander Herrera and Marouane Fellaini in the summer have left a lack of strength in depth in midfield that the manager failed to reinforce.

Supporters were mixed on the views of the United legend and made their feelings clear about it on social media.

Some focused on Pogba as a key issue, while others said that there were other factors to the argument.

Here are some of the best responses from Manchester United fans:
