Manchester United fans want the club to avoid signing striker Mauro Icardi after a tweet from a fan.

One United fan was left wondering why the club didn’t move ‘heaven and earth’ to sign the Argentine attacker in the summer transfer window.
Icardi experienced a sensational fallout with parent club Internazionale last season over his contract and after refusing to switch agents from his wife Wanda Icardi at the request of the Serie A side (via Sky Sports).
The Argentina international was linked with a move to Old Trafford in the summer, and the forward was reported to be open to a move because of fellow countrymen Carlos Tevez and Sergio Aguero (via 90min).
Icardi eventually ended up at Paris Saint Germain and has scored five goals in just six appearances in all competitions this campaign (via Transfermarkt).
It seems the fans don’t want Icardi at the club, though, despite his goalscoring record as they took to Twitter to react.
