Manchester United fans weren’t in a very celebratory mood after they were reminded that today marks the three-year anniversary since Paul Pogba signed for the club.
It was on this fateful day three years ago that Pogba re-joined the club for a then world-record fee of £89m.

Since then Pogba has been the target of verbal abuse from some of the Old Trafford faithful, with an incident occurring on the final day of last season after the club’s 2-0 loss to already-relegated Cardiff City (shown in footage picked up by the Daily Express).
The 26-year-old has suffered from rumours surrounding his attitude behind the scenes and was said to have suffered a fallout with manager Jose Mourinho.
Since joining the club, the France international has made 135 appearances, scoring 31 goals and assisting a further 29.
Indeed, some of the Old Trafford faithful appear to be far from pleased with the work the Frenchman has done since his move, and let their feelings be known on Twitter.
