Manchester United fans have blasted former captain and legend Roy Keane after his outburst against former manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
The ex-Ireland international accused the Scotsman of nepotism and waved away ideas the manager was a great man-manager (via The Telegraph).
Ferguson’s handling of other big-name departures was also criticised by Keane, with the former midfielder falling victim to an acrimonious exit himself.
Keane left the Old Trafford giants for Celtic after a fallout with Ferguson over an interview he gave about the performances of his teammates against Middlesbrough in 2005/06 season.
Keane has a fractured relationship with his former manager and was even blasted in Ferguson’s autobiography, which was released in 2013.
It seems the fans have picked a side, as they took to Twitter to defend their former manager from the outburst from Keane on Fergie’s man-management.

Keane realised that he was eventually going to be phased out by Sir Alex. Kicked a fuss, Utd went on to win more titles & Keane? Got Sunderland promoted? The guy was a good player but the disrespect to Sir Alex is disrespect to United.
