Manchester United have reportedly shown an interest in signing defensive midfielder Denis Zakaria from Borussia Monchengladbach.
German publication Bild reported that the Old Trafford club have expressed an interest in the 22-year-old, claiming that the Bundesliga outfit would be willing to listen to offers of €50m (£43.1m) or more for him, with the news subsequently shared on Twitter by @utdreport.

According to Bild, United are set to face competition for his signature from Tottenham, Inter, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund.
The Switzerland international has been ever-present for Monchengladbach this season and has a record of seven goals and four assists in 75 games for the club.
By way of comparison, current Manchester United midfielder Fred has scored once and set up two goals in 32 appearances since his £52m move from Shakhtar Donetsk in 2018 (as per Sky Sports), while he has started just once in the Premier League so far this term.
