Manchester United fans replied jokingly after assistant manager Mik Phelan advertised a job at the academy on his Twitter account.
The veteran coach returned to the Red Devils on a permanent basis in the summer after re-joining the club on an interim basis when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer first joined in December 2018 (via talkSPORT).
Phelan was previously at the north-west club as both a first-team coach and assistant manager under former manager Sir Alex Ferguson. He was promoted to the position of assistant manager in 2008, however, exited the club after Fergie retired in 2013 (via BBC).
The job posting on his Twitter account comes amid a restructure of the club’s academy system. The former head of the Academy Nicky Butt was appointed as the new head of first-team development.
Fans of the club replied jokingly to the post by the assistant manager as they took to Twitter to share their ‘managerial credentials’.
