Manchester United fans are willing to welcome former striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic with open arms after the Swede gave an interview suggesting he’d be open to a move to the club.
Ibrahimovic previously played for the north-west club for 18 months between 2016 and 2018 enjoying a hugely successful goal-scoring spell.
The former Sweden international scored 28 goals in just 46 appearances in his debut season at Old Trafford before a knee injury ruled him out for seven months (via Transfermarkt).
The injury saw him leave the club in March 2018 as he joined LA Galaxy after agreeing to terminate his contract at Old Trafford.
Manchester United are set to be left with a shortage of attackers after Alexis Sanchez agreed on a loan move to Internazionale, following in the footsteps of former teammate Romelu Lukaku.
Given the obvious shortage of quality in forward areas, the Old Trafford faithful are open to a move for the 37-year-old.
