Manchester United fans were not convinced by reports that the club have tabled a £12.5m bid for the Birmingham City youngster Jude Bellingham, according to the Mirror.
The Premier League giants are leading the race to inherit the services of the 16-year-old, who has attracted attention across Europe from the like of Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund, as per the Daily Mail. As a boyhood Blues fan, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to swoop in for him at St Andrew’s and bring some of the best young talent in the country, according to the Mirror. He recently made his full debut for the club earlier in the season where he started during a 3-0 defeat to Swansea City.

He has scored three goals and provided one assist in the Championship this season and the England U17 international can play in central midfield or either flank, with his contract set to expire with Birmingham in 2021, as per TransferMarkt. Despite this, fans were not convinced and stated that there are bigger problems at the club that need to be dealt with first.

United needs more established players not just kids.
I don’t care who this lad is, he is not the solution to United’s current problems.
We need to get into the top 4 and become competitive against the best in the world again.
