Manchester United missed the chance to go level on points with fourth-placed Chelsea in the Premier League after they could only salvage a 2-2 draw against Burnley at Old Trafford last night.
Second-half goals from Ashley Barnes and Chris Wood put the visitors 2-0 up before a late Paul Pogba penalty and Victor Lindelof strike levelled things up to give Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side a point.
After managing to claw their way back in the race for a Champions League spot, Manchester United will undoubtedly be disappointed with dropping points at home to a side like Burnley.
However, the way they fought back having looked down and out at 2-0 down is certainly one positive that can be taken away from the game, while the performance of Lindelof is also something that would have pleased those at Old Trafford.
