Manchester United fans on Twitter still keen on Solskjaer despite PSG defeat

Manchester United fell to their first defeat under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer last night after losing 2-0 to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League at Old Trafford.

Goals from Presnel Kimpembe and Kylian Mbappe helped the Ligue 1 outfit see off the challenge of the home side, leaving it all to do for them when they travel to the Parc des Princes for the second leg next month.

Trying to overturn that 2-0 deficit will also have to be done without key midfielder Paul Pogba following his sending off, while the possible return of Edinson Cavani to the PSG starting XI could make the task at hand for Manchester United an even more daunting one.

All things considered, though, the Old Trafford faithful can still be pleased with the impact Solskjaer has made since replacing Jose Mourinho as manager with the former Red Devils striker now surely a contender to get the job on a permanent basis.

I loved Ole’s post match press conference. Rather than be gloomy and complain after a huge loss like our previous managers, his comment was “We are Manchester United, we always bounce back” Give this man the job already.
