Manchester United fans have heaped praise on 19-year-old Brandon Williams for managing to force his way into manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team at the expense of experienced left-back Luke Shaw.
The youngster is part of a new generation of players breaking through from the United youth setup and into the senior side, having been tipped to be a ‘top, top player’ by the boss.
His goal during the 3-3 draw against Sheffield United sparked a stunning second-half comeback from 2-0 down, which followed a solid performance in the Europa League during the 1-0 win against Partizan Belgrade.

As a result, Solskjaer has informed Shaw that he is no longer considered the strongest left-back at the club, falling behind Williams in the Red Devils pecking order.
