Manchester United fans were split after a statistic about summer signing Aaron Wan-Bissaka emerged yesterday.
According to BT Sport, the right-back has won the most tackles of any player in the Premier League player so far this season.
Wan-Bissaka built up a reputation for his tackling ability while at Crystal Palace last season. The defender won the third-most of any player in the top flight during the 2018/2019 season (via Premier League).
His performances saw Manchester United outlay £45m plus £5m add ons on the 21-year-old.
His performances this season saw him earn his first call-up to Gareth Southgate’s England squad for the games against Bulgaria and Kosovo. However, the defender has since had to withdraw due to injury.
Fans appeared to be split on their opinions of the defender, with some taking to Twitter to call him the best right-back in the league, while others remained critical.
Here is a selection of tweets from the Old Trafford faithful:
He should work on going forwad like Dani alves, that way you won’t be dispense able, the problem of too much tackling is that when your legs are gone or stop tackling he will be a benchwarmer,

He still doesn’t have the attacking qualities. Solid at the back though
