Manchester United fans want James Garner to get promoted to the club’s first team following his nomination for August goal of the month.
The Englishman scored a thunderbolt for the under-23 side against West Bromwich Albion’s under-23 side from more than 20 yards.
Garner featured in manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s pre-season tour of Asia, and he even scored a goal as the Red Devils ran out 2-0 winners against Perth Glory.
The Norwegian manager has given his assurances that the youngster will feature for the first team this season when the cup competitions begin (via Metro).
The youngster has started the season off well, scoring four goals in four games for United’s under-23s (via Transfermarkt).
Fans are calling for the 18-year-old to be introduced into the first-team fold sooner rather than later, as they took to Twitter to give their responses.
