Manchester United fans are looking over to the bar here in the Football Transfer Tavern as the Guardian seem to think that Radamel Falcao’s future will be decided in May.
The forward has been more miss than hit this season and as one of our punters notes, Louis van Gaal has never really seemed overly keen on him and we cannot see the United boss shelling out the huge sum it would take to secure him on a permanent deal.
There is still a chance for Falcao to rescue his career at the club given Robin van Persie is set to miss at least a few more games with injury and should Falcao manage to find the back of the net a few times, it will go a long way in convincing the United supporters and manager he is worth taking a chance on.
Our punters in the tavern note that we used to be massive Falcao fans, but this season, even his biggest admirers have to admit he has been found wanting.
