Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern are pleasantly surprised to hear that work has already begun on their activities for next summer.
According to The Daily Star, United have verbally agreed a deal to bring Felipe Anderson to Old Trafford at the end of the season.
Manchester United saw bids rejected by Lazio this summer, which left the Brazilian unhappy, but now a deal is in-place for the Red Devils to secure the addition of the highly-rated forward next summer.
The 22-year-old’s versatility will provide an immense boost to United’s flailing attack, with Felipe Anderson capable of playing in a central role or out wide; given Louis Van Gaal plenty of options.
With Wayne Rooney struggling for goals this season the pressure has been placed upon the shoulders of young Anthony Martial, which is not ideal for the club chasing the Premier League title.
One United fan at the bar has piped-up and said if such a deal exists then his side should look to complete the deal in January, stating it’s worth paying a bit more to secure a signing that can win them the league.
United fans, would Felipe Anderson be the missing piece of your attack? Let us know in the comments below!
