Manchester United fans are crowding round the pool table and pouring over the Sunday Telegraph as they seem to think that the club are willing to negotiate with Monaco over the future of Radamel Falcao.
The Colombian forward is on a season-long loan at the club which isn’t exactly coming cheap.
To bring the forward to Old Trafford on a permanent basis, it will cost a massive £43 million and that is a price United are not really willing to pay.
Louis van Gaal may have the cash to splash in the transfer window but does not want to waste it and given his relationship with the Monaco-owned forward, we think that more time may be required just yet before any permanent deal takes place no matter how much Monaco are willing to knock off their valuation of the player.
