According to quotes from journalist Duncan Castles on the Transfer Window Podcast via MU Live, Birmingham City youngster Jude Bellingham and his father are ‘yet to be convinced’ over a move to the Red Devils, prompting complete bemusement from some United supporters.
Bellingham, who has been dubbed an exciting prospect following his leap on to the scene with Birmingham, is reportedly also being targeted by the likes of Aston Villa, Leicester, Chelsea and Everton – if this report from Castles is to be believed.
The 16-year-old, when compared to current United youth midfielder Tahith Chong’s Europa League numbers, averages more dribbles per game in the Championship (1) and a higher rate of shots per game (1.1) – perhaps hinting that he could be a menacing back up to the Red Devils first team in future – even if Chong averages a superior pass success rate (82.4%), as per WhoScored.com.
Indeed, this appears to be a purchase for future potential, but that hasn’t stopped supporters from lambasting the rumoured fact that Bellingham is hesitant to sign at Old Trafford – find all of their best comments down below.

Are they for real. We’re the perfect club. We give youth opportunities better than any other club. We’re building a young exciting team & signing Bellingham he’d be a massive part of that. I’d be gutted of we didn’t sign him

We’re finished. Completely finished. Can’t attract players from Birmingham but certain people believe we can get the likes of Sancho while we have Ole and Woodward in charge

Another not wanting to sign for Ole. What pulling power he has
