Presenter and Manchester United fan Mark Goldbridge wasn’t impressed after hearing potential investors from the Elliott Investment Management group are allegedly at Old Trafford tonight.

BBC reporter Simon Stone said prior to kick-off that ‘there will be potential investors at tonight’s game, potentially from the Elliott Investment Management group, who formerly owned AC Milan and are willing to provide funding around United rather than buy into the club itself’.

The United Stand presenter took to Twitter to react to the news involving the Elliott Investment Management group allegedly being at Old Trafford and wasn’t happy, saying:

The Verdict: One to watch?
The Elliott Investment Management group have reportedly made an offer to take a 60% stake in the club, although the Glazers are hoping to knock them down to 40%.
Therefore, knowing that they may be watching United against Betis could make their Old Trafford bid one to watch over the coming weeks and possibly months, although Goldbridge doesn’t seem impressed as that may mean the Glazers hanging around with the Elliott Investment Management group providing funding.
Fans on Thursday once again made their feelings clear towards the Glazers, so many others alongside Goldbridge may not be happy at this news involving the former AC Milan owners.
