Manchester United: Mason Greenwood’s likely start has delighted fans online

Excitement levels have risen among the Manchester United fans after a report from The Sun that Mason Greenwood will start for the club against Astana in the Europa League.

The publication are also reporting that boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is concerned by the club’s lack of firepower in forward areas.

Forwards Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku were both let go to Internazionale on loan and permanent deals respectively.

The sales left Jesse Lingard, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford as the only senior attackers in Solskjaer’s squad for the season ahead.

A potential start tomorrow will be Greenwood’s second start for the club in his young career, with his first coming in the 2-0 home loss to Cardiff City last season (via Transfermarkt).
