A number of Manchester United fans have been left buzzing as Mason Greenwood was given the club's Player Of The Month (POTM) award for August.
As per the Red Devils' official website, the England international was voted as their POTM ahead of both Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes, who finished in second and third place respectively.
Greenwood has scored three goals in his first three games in the Premier League so far this season (Transfermarkt) and is relishing the chance to play as a striker. However, with a certain Cristiano Ronaldo arriving on the scene, his opportunities to play up top may now be limited.
Nonetheless, the award is thoroughly deserved for one of United's most exciting prospects, who will want to add to his goal tally against Newcastle United in their first fixture back after the international break next Saturday.
