Cristiano Ronaldo may have already played his last game for Manchester United, according to reliable journalist Miguel Delaney.
The Lowdown: Ronaldo storms off
The 37-year-old made the headlines for all the wrong reasons on Wednesday evening, storming off down the tunnel before the end of the 2-0 win at home to Tottenham.
Erik ten Hag was clearly unimpressed by what he saw from Ronaldo, with the United boss dropping him from the squad to face Chelsea in the Premier League this weekend having confirmed he wanted to substitute the superstar striker on.
It remains to be seen what will happen next with the Portuguese legend but an exit in the near future is feeling increasingly likely.

Taking to Twitter on Thursday, Delaney claimed that there is a feeling that Ronaldo could even have played his final match in a United shirt:

Ronaldo is an undisputed legend of the game but his behaviour on Wednesday was completely unacceptable and reeked of a player who thinks he is bigger than the club.

Ten Hag has handled the situation brilliantly, showing great strength of character, and it feels as though he would rather Ronaldo not be around at this point, focusing on building something positive without him.
